Manager, Financial Reporting Valuations

Work Type: Ongoing - Full-time

Salary: $138,631 - $185,518

Grade: VPS 6

Position: This role manages the day-to-day work operations of the Financial Reporting Valuations team within the Government Valuations area. It provides expert financial reporting valuation advice to the Valuer-General, Deputy Valuer-General and government agencies on complex or sensitive matters, while ensuring valuations meet legal and professional standards. The role leads a team, oversees external valuation providers, and works closely with government and industry stakeholders. Success in this role ensures government property valuations are accurate, reliable and trusted, supporting sound financial reporting, informed decision-making and public confidence in government valuation processes. 

Please note: Completion of an appropriate tertiary qualification with Certified Practising Valuer (CPV) status and membership with the Australian Property Institute (API) (mandatory)
