Matheson Stephen Valuations (MSV) is a boutique Melbourne-based firm offering property valuation and consulting services to Local Government, State Government, Federal Government, Commercial Clients and selected domestic Clients.
MSV is seeking an assistant property valuer to work primarily northern and eastern suburbs. The position is principally within our municipal valuations department with additional exposure to our valuation services (including compensation assessments, asset valuations, purchase and disposal of property, and rental valuations). Ideally the successful applicant will be available to work 3-5 weekdays. You will be based at our office in Heidelberg with working from home arrangements to be considered once fully trained.
To be successful in the role you will need to be:
Currently enrolled in or have completed an Australian Property Institute-approved degree course
Confident in the Microsoft Office Suite of products
Career focused with a sound work ethic
Ability to work under pressure and meet timelines
Excellent organisational skills and absolute attention to detail
Ability to adapt to quickly and work in a range of locations throughout Melbourne.
Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle.
Great team player
Ability to commence ASAP
This role is subject to the satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check (NCHC) also known as a police check.
