2025 MGV AGM

The online AGM was held on Friday 11th April 2025. The meeting attracted about 96 attendees which was so pleasing to the executive committee. A sincere thanks to our Treasurer, Tim Gleeson for chairing the meeting and who did a brilliant job.

A huge thank you to Mike Thanos and the team at IDS at Domain for continuing with their very generous sponsorship of the Emerging Leader Award and for hosting the executive committee for our AGM. It was an enormous help to us to have this venue on the day. Our thanks also to both Mike Thanos & Jarryd Stephens for presenting to us as well. Very informative presentation and we await with interest for the roll out and implementation into Victoria.

We also extend a huge thank you to David Flood at MCP Financial Services who very kindly gave his time to present to us. It is pleasing that there has already been some feedback from our members who will be contacting him for some financial services, which is a great way of thanking him. It was also interesting hearing him discussing the introduction of 50 year mortgages in Japan. Download his presentation here.

Thankyou to those executive members who have remained on the committee and extend a very warm welcome to new members Will Robbins, Mark Angerame & Helen Crews.

We would like to also extend a huge thanks to our outgoing executive members Celeste Orange & Marcus Hann and thank them for their contribution to the group and the committee.
